The WB EDIF Platform marked its 5th year of operations by holding a celebratory anniversary event in Sarajevo on November 7th 2017, where Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Head of EU Delegation to Bosnia & Herzegovina, opened the day of discussions.
At this occasion WB EDIF’s core partners and stakeholders were present from across the region, including commercial banks and SME associations, as well as the IFI partners deploying WB EDIF instruments. Several discussion panels were held to debate the topic of innovation in the region and how WB EDIF can contribute to the Regional Economic Area in developing a level playing field and boost Western Balkans economic attractiveness in the sphere of private sector development.
