On 7 May 2019 in Sarajevo, the Western Balkans Enterprise Development & Innovation Facility (WB EDIF) held its second SME Forum in the region. The Forum, hosted by the EBRD and coordinated by the European Commission and the European Investment Fund (EIF), brought together key stakeholders from the private and public sector, Chambers of commerce, International Financing Institutions and entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges and opportunities for SMEs in the Western Balkans to grow and develop.

About WB EDIF
The EBRD and the Enterprise Expansion Fund (ENEF) will jointly invest in the European Voluntary Pension Fund Management Company (EPF) together with Skupna pokojninska družba and the Pension Reserve Fund of Republika Srpska.
The investment will allow the fund management firm to become the first provider of voluntary pension management services in Republika Srpska, one of the two entities constituting Bosnia and Herzegovina. This will offer private customers and investors a wider choice and represent a major milestone in the development of the local capital market.
